What's she laughing at?

Even as a young child, I loved to draw, taking inspiration from Disney movies; cartoons such as the Animaniacs; and comic strips like Garfield, Foxtrot, and Calivn and Hobbes. I dreamed of being a Disney animator, and to this day I remember drawing characters from the Lion King for my friends. Then, at the tender age of 12, I discovered the world of Anime, and all hope was lost.

More than once during my high school (and later, college) years was I repremanded for 'drawing instead of paying attention.' Yet my love of drawing remained unbridled, leading me to years of experience at art shows, multiple japanese-style comics, and even a full-time job drawing all day.
